Welcome to Acuity Hospital of South Texas's Web site. Acuity Hospital of South Texas (AHST) was established in July of 2008 as a 30-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC). The goal of our Web site is to give you as much information as possible about what a Long Term Acute Care Hospital is and the type of patients we serve. As you navigate through the different pages you will learn about the many programs and services AHST can offer to the medically complex patient.
