Scott Galliardt was named the Chief Executive Officer in September 2007 and worked to open Acuity Hospital of South Texas on July 1, 2008. He came to Acuity Hospital of South Texas with several years of progressive experience in LTAC management at Select Specialty Hospital and Texas Specialty Hospital. Prior to working in the LTAC market, Scott gained experience as a ICU and Trauma ER Nurse. Scott holds a nursing degree from Kansas Newman College and obtained his Master's Degree in 2004. He has been a registered nurse for over 19 years and in nursing for 26 years. Scott holds the rank of Major in the Texas Air National Guard and has been selected to promote to Lieutenant Colonel in 2011.

Veronica Velentzas was named Director of Provider Relations on February 12, 2009. Veronica has over 13 years experience in Healthcare Marketing and Sales. She has been a licensed respiratory therapist for 13 years has primarily worked as Clinical Liaison in an LTAC for 10 years, before coming to Acuity, Veronica worked in a Rehab Facility . She is currently a member of the Hispanic Medical Professions, The National Hispanic Professional Organization and The Case Management Society of South Texas.

Dr. Lovelesh Manocha, Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He has served as Medical Director with Acuity Hospital of South Texas since our opening in July 2008. He is an important part of the Acuity Hospital team and serves on several committes with in the hospital. |

David Hall Rph. was named Director of Acuity Hospital of South Texas Pharmacy on October 1, 2009. He came to Acuity after 9 years as Director of Pharmacy Services for Select Medical Corporation. David is a veteran pharmacist for over 33 years and has operated all types of pharmacies in and around Texas. He has specialized in IV infusion and Hospital Pharmacy having operated pharmacies for Odessa Regional Hospital, Methodist Womens and Children Hospital and Methodist Hospital San Antonio, Christus HomeCare, Olston Infusion Services, Gentiva Infusion Services. David holds a Clinical Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin Pharmacy School.

Yolanda Ochoa has been in the Human Resource field for over 15+ years and has a wide range of Human Resource work experience. Yolanda has her certification as a Professional in Human Resources since 1/01/2008. Her experience ranges from Employee Relations, Medical Staff Services, Recruitment and HR Department Development. She has also serviced as Safety Officer and Environment of Care Manager.

Emilie Kilpatrick was named Chief Nursing Officer in July, 2008. She has 10 years experience in LTAC prior experience includes working in ICU, Med-Surg, Neurology and Neurosurgery. Emilie received her Diploma in Nursing from Brackenridge Hospital School of Nursing in Austin, Texas. She has been a registered nurse for 30 years. Currently she is seeking her Masters in Nursing.

Eddie Frausto was named the Respiratory Care Manager in July, 2008.He comes to Acuity Hospital of South Texas with 27 years experience and board certification. He managed the Respiratory Department at Texas Specialty Hospital for 8 years prior to coming to Acuity Hospital of South Texas. Eddie served at Wilford Hall USAF Hospital as a cardiopulmonary technician, where his primary duties were in the ICU. He also performed Pulmonary Function tests, Echocardiograms, Cardiac Stress testing, and was part of the ER Trauma Team, The bulk of his experience includes both adult and pediatric medical, surgical, and cardiac intensive care

Ronda Hajduk isthe Director of Records and has been with Acuity Hospital since September 2008. She has been employed in all aspects of the health care field for more than twenty years in quality improvement, health information management, billing, coding , risk management, transcription and physician credentialing. Ronda received her Masters of Business Administration from Nova University in Florida.

Elsa M. Toscano was named Director of Medical Records in July 2008. She came to Acuity Hospital of South Texas with 20 + years of coding experience. Prior to working at Acuity Hospital Elsa came from Brooke Army Medical Center which she audited the doctors and trained in coding for different clinics at BAMC. She graduated from St. Philips College with an Associate’s Degree in Science.
