If you or your family member would like to be evaluated for admission to Acuity Hospital of , please call our Admissions Office at 210 572-4646 twentyfour hours a day. If you are currently a patient in the hospital, please talk with your physician or Case Manager. We encourage family members to come tour our hospital and meet our staff.
Once your physician has referred you to Acuity Hospital of South Texas, a clinical liaison will visit you in the hospital. She or he can explain the transfer process and answer any questions you may have.
It is our goal to make the admission process as streamline as possible. You or your family will need to provide your insurance card and complete admission paperwork. The admission paperwork is designed to help inform you of your rights as a patient and give our staff your contact information.
Acuity Hospital of South Texas encourages patient and family involvement in the patient's Plan of Care. Our clinical team holds weekly Team Conferences to assess a patient's progress toward their goal. AHST recognizes that each patient is unique; therefore each patient's Plan of Care is customized to meet the needs of the patient.
